Empire Office, a leading provider of contract furniture solutions, has announced the promotion of Jay Binkowski to president of Empire Florida.

Binkowski has been with the company since 2009 following the acquisition of Thomas W. Ruff South Florida, and most recently held the role of senior vice president and Florida regional manager. He brings over 20 years of industry experience to the role. In his new position, Binkowski will continue to manage the rapidly growing sales base in Florida.

Empire Office has seen vast growth in recent years due to the acquisitions of Storr Office Environments in Tampa and Orlando, Office Elements in Boca Raton and the Construction Services Division of Florida Business Interiors in Orlando and the expansion of the Move Services Division. Due to these moves, Empire expects 2016 sales to surpass $100 million in Florida alone. Binkowski has played a key part in this recent growth of the Florida division.

Empire has recently been recognized on both national and regional levels, including being ranked on the 2014 Inc5000 list and Crain’s 2015 New York Area’s Largest Privately Held Companies list, among others.
