Akelius announced that it has acquired six rental properties, containing a total of 270 units, in Ville de Saint-Lambert, an off-island suburb of Montreal.

Built in the 1970s, the apartments are adjacent to Montreal Country Club and offer a suburban environment surrounded by lots of green space and a swimming pool.

Akelius first entered the Montreal market in October of 2014. With the addition of these properties, it now owns 771 apartment units in Montreal.

Country Manager Akelius Canada, Shelly Lee comments: “The ambition is to continue to grow by cherry picking suitable properties. Montreal is a growing metropolitan area with a strong demand for apartments. We will upgrade our properties and provide a service above the market standard.”
