West Vancouver property management firm Hollyburn Properties has received a 2013 Better Business Bureau (BBB) award for Community Excellence.

The company was lauded for its community outreach work in British Columbia. Hollyburn has long-term partnerships with the City School at King George Secondary and Covenant House International. Through a partnership with Covenant House, Hollyburn runs a youth housing program that donates fully furnished suites to street-involved youth for a year.

“It is a true honour to be recognized for our community contributions by the Better Business Bureau of B.C., an organization that holds businesses accountable to exceedingly high ethical practices,” says Allan Wasel, general manager of Hollyburn.

The BBB’s Community Excellence Awards recognize businesses that, on top of being financially successful, are also committed to having a positive impact on their community.
