The new Opus Hotel Versante is coming to the International Trade Centre in Richmond, B.C. The 12-storey, 110-room hotel aims to become the first luxury boutique hotel in the city.

MoYeung International Enterprise Ltd. entered an agreement with the Opus Hotel Corporation to build the Opus Hotel Versante. It will stand alongside two office towers at the International Trade Centre, and feature 34,000 square feet of luxury retail space. It will include an open-air lounge with a cutout roof design and a Chinese fine-dining restaurant at street level.

“The Opus Hotel brand presents a vibrant and eclectic mix of people and place making the International Trade Centre development the ideal location for the next property,” says John Evans, founder and president of the OPUS Hotel Corporation.

Located close to several transit hubs, including the Canada Line Bridgeport Road Station and the Vancouver International Airport, the new hotel will be accessible for visitors. Evans’ current hotel management company, Trilogy Hotel Management Ltd., will operate and manage the new property.

The hotel is scheduled to open in fall 2017.
