A new Toronto neighbourhood, known as The Well, has been proposed for downtown Toronto’s west end. The mixed-use project is the work of three urban developers: RioCan REIT, Allied Properties REIT and Diamond Corporation.

The seven-and-a-half acre community will be comprised of mixed-use buildings featuring residential, retail and office space. Current plans for the development are under review by the City of Toronto.

The Well captures our energy and creativity and provides us with a new landmark.”

Three world-renowned architects have been selected by the developers to help bring their vision to life: David Pontarini, founding partner of Hariri Pontarini Architects; Jon Pickard, partner of Pickard Chilton; and Claude Cormier, founder of Claude Cormier Landscape Architects.

The Well is proposed to border Wellington St., Spadina Ave. and Front St. As planning continues, the developers will maintain discussions with local residents, municipal politicians and planning authorities.
