SAMM Developments has officially broken ground on LivMore Magnetic Hill, a new purpose‑built rental community in Moncton, New Brunswick. The on-site ceremony at 2515 Mountain Road gathered representatives from SAMM Developments and Dynamic Builders, along with Moncton Ward 3 Councillors Juliana Mutch and Bryan Butler.

“We want to build more than just a building,” said Ali Akman, President of SAMM Developments. “We want to build a community where families have more than just a living space — a place they can truly call home. LivMore is designed to support a healthy lifestyle by pairing quality rental apartments with services you don’t typically find in a rental building.”

With occupancy targetted for May 2028. LivMore Magnetic Hill will feature one‑, two‑ and three‑bedroom suites with contemporary finishes, in‑suite laundry, smart‑home technology, outdoor green space, an exterior dog‑walking area and EV charging stations. Residents will have access to expanded amenities through the adjacent Days Inn Hotel, including an enclosed pool, fitness centre, restaurants, banquet facilities and conference rooms.

Councillors Mutch welcomed the project, noting its alignment with Moncton’s housing needs: “Attainable, affordable housing is a need in Moncton, and we thank you for choosing our city to introduce the LivMore concept,” he said.

SAMM Developments plans to extend the LivMore model beyond Moncton, leveraging its hotel portfolio across Eastern Canada and Ontario.

“We see LivMore as more than a single development,” Akman said. “This is the beginning of a new vision for rental living, and we look forward to bringing the concept to more communities in the years ahead.”
