Ivanhoe Cambridge is investing $20 million to upgrade Rockhill Apartments, a residential complex at the base of Mount Royal in Montreal.

“Forty-five years after its construction, the prestigious Rockhill complex is poised to once again become one of Montreal’s most sought-after living environments,” says Sylvain Fortier, Ivanhoe Cambridge’s executive vice-president of residential and hotels.

Built in 1968 on the northwestern side of the mountain, the iconic urban development has more than 1,000 units spread across the six-building complex.

The revitalization project will focus on two areas: the modernization and redevelopment of the buildings and common areas, and the creation of a leisure and community-oriented lifestyle. Planned building upgrades include eight fully renovated penthouse suites, a stylish lobby, Wi-Fi zones and a spacious shopping gallery. A range of exclusive services and activities for residents will also be introduced.
