On Dec. 5, 2013, the Federation of Rental-Housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO) announced the winners of its 2013 FRPO Marketing, Achievement and Construction (MAC) Awards as part of PM Expo in Toronto. The event was attended by more than 830 rental housing providers, ranging from hands-on managers to third-party management and holding companies.
The MAC Awards Gala recognizes excellence in the Ontario residential rental housing industry across a number of categories.
“The event started 13 years ago with just 300 in attendance,” says Lynzi Michael, FRPO’s manager of members services. “This year we had 830 turn out, which is a record for us. It was great to see so many come out in support of these awards.”
One company honoured at the Ontario rental housing awards, Starlight Investments, is also the team featured on the cover of the current issue of Canadian Apartment Magazine.
“Starlight is delighted and proud to have been recognized with this respected and prestigious award,” says president and CEO Daniel Drimmer. “This award acknowledges Starlight’s commitment to the areas of energy and water conservation. I would also like to extend my sincere congratulations to all individuals and companies on their achievements.”

Really? 90 Eastdale received lobby reno of the year? The cockroaches must've been sleeping that day. Thanks for listening to your tenants and spending money on such a useless renovation. A bike rack, mail room or tenant information board would've been much more functional. Surprise, tenant requests were ignored once again.
