Bill Thompson, president, Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI), Toronto chapter discusses a fairer way of assessing property taxes and a better method for dealing with disputes. He also talks about the need for environmental expenditures to be allowed from reserve funds.

Christopher Jaglowitz, lawyer and arbitrator, Gardiner Miller Arnold LLP discusses the need for condominium corporations to be required to carry (at a minimum) financial fidelity insurance over their reserve funds. As well, he addresses the highly debated topic of examination of records.

Robert Buckler, condominium consultant, Beredan Management & Consulting Inc. addresses the need for statutory provisions that require all new condo directors to take an education course and condo property managers to be licensed. He also discusses current reserve fund issues.
