A Canadian real estate developer and construction company, Minto Communities (Minto), received 19 awards at the 35th Annual National Association of Home Builders 2015 National Sales and Marketing Awards. Minto was recognized for the marketing efforts and advertising campaigns carried out for several high-rise condominium developments.

The first-place projects and their respective campaigns included:

  • Minto Yorkville Park – Best Advertising Campaign;
  • Minto Longbranch – Best Digital Marketing Campaign; and
  • Minto Longbranch – Best Marketing of a Green/Sustainable Program.

The developer also took home 16 silver awards, including Marketing Director of the Year, which was presented to Minto’s Director of Marketing, Natascha Pieper.

“We take a really hands-on approach to marketing, following a consumer goods model, which is unique in our industry,” says Amanda Wilson Watkins, Vice-President of Marketing and Sales for Minto. “I think this award speaks to the unique vision that we develop for our projects, and execute strategically with our consultants. We align our marketing strategy with the needs of our customers. Studying analytics is a big part of that as well.”

Minto received three silver awards for additional projects in the sustainability division, a category of particular significance to the developer. The company has previously been recognized for its green efforts by BOMA Canada, the Canada Green Building Council, the Ontario Home Builders’ Association, the Building Industry and Land Development Association, and the Green Toronto Awards.
