Westbank’s mixed-use tower at the north end of Vancouver’s Granville Street Bridge has been approved by city council.
Designed by world-renowned Danish architectural firm Bjarke Ingels Group, the development features a 52-storey tower with 407 residential units, and a 10-storey podium with retail, and 95 residential market units on the Howe Street sites. The Granville and Pacific sites will feature six-storey buildings for retail and offices. It will bring 80,000 square feet of new retail to the area. The retail component will include a grocery store, liquor store and drugstore.
