VRCA names new president

Friday, June 7, 2013

The Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) board of directors has named Fiona Famulak as its new president and CEO after a comprehensive nation-wide search.

Famulak brings a wealth of experience to the VRCA, having previously held several senior executive positions with the Whistler Chamber of Commerce, Indigo Initiatives, Kyber Developments and KPMG Deloitte in Asia.

She replaces former president, Keith Sashaw, who served at the helm of the VRCA for 12 years. Sashaw left the association in mid-January to join the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies of British Columbia (ACEC-BC), where he now serves as the association’s president and CEO.

Famulak will assume her new role in September 2013.
