North American design firm Stantec has acquired AP/ID, a Vancouver-based design firm known for its corporate office consulting and strategic workplace planning services.

“The market for corporate design in Metro Vancouver is coming into a 10 year high with over two million square feet of Class A space being built. By joining Stantec and strengthening their interior design team, we’ll be able to better serve this growing need, while providing even more value to our long-term clients,” says Susi Krauss, owner of AP/ID.

Notable projects for AP/ID include designing highly functional, collaborative and flexible workspaces for BC Hydro, the BC Safety Authority, the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) and Community Savings Credit Union.

Stantec currently has more than 800 employees in eight offices in British Columbia, with four of those in the greater Vancouver area.

The addition of AP/ID will make the Vancouver interior design team the largest at Stantec, as well as the largest in B.C.
