The new construction phase of St. Mary’s Hospital in Sechelt, B.C. is complete.
Designed by Farrow Partnership Architects in association with Perkins+Will, the hospital is targeting a LEED Gold certification.
The hospital’s new light-filled lobby will serve as the face of the building. In addition to marking the new main entrance, the lobby will connect the new portions of the hospital to its existing areas.
The hospital also boasts unique features such as single-occupancy inpatient rooms and operable windows in all clinical and inpatient areas.
The next phase, a renovation to enhance the ambulatory care unit, has now begun.
