Sequel Hospitality Investments Inc., a division of Sequel Hotels and Resorts, has entered into a purchase and sale agreement for the Touchstone on Lake Muskoka.

The $35-million resort and condominium development is located on 22 waterfront acres in Bracebridge, Ont. It is one of the few Muskoka resorts that is comprised of new build accommodation and amenities.

“Touchstone will compete internationally as a top-tier resort project,” says Robert McLaughlin, president and CEO of Sequel Hospitality Investments. “New ownership by specialists like Sequel brings new vision and opportunities to Touchstone.”

Once the sale goes through, Sequel says it will expand the resort, with a focus on multi-residential development. It plans to add 56 new lakeside, whole ownership condos.
