The Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) announced the appointment of Paul Forgues as its new executive director. He will assume the role on September 2.

Forgues, a seasoned association and business leader, brings more than 30 years of executive-level experience in advocacy, strategy, stakeholder relations, governance, and corporate branding. He has held senior roles at the Canadian Audit & Accountability Foundation, the Institute of Internal Auditors Canada, and the Conference Board of Canada.

“Paul brings the right blend of business acumen and association leadership experience to enhance CRCA’s ability to deliver results and strengthen our national voice,” said CRCA president Dan Nosaty, on behalf of the board of directors. “With a proven track record of building collaborative relationships and implementing strategies that drive growth, he is well-suited to lead CRCA into its next chapter. His appointment ushers in a
new era of collaboration with provincial roofing associations, and the board is confident that under Paul’s leadership, CRCA will continue to expand its role as a champion for roofing contractors across Canada.”

This leadership transition comes as CRCA prepares to convene in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on September 8–9, 2025, to launch its strategic planning process – a milestone that will help shape the association’s priorities and the future direction of the roofing industry in the years ahead.
