Bruce Knapp has joined B+H, as a managing principal in the firm’s Vancouver office. B+H is a global, award-winning, design firm recognized for excellence in sustainable design, technical expertise and the delivery of complex, large-scale projects.
Knapp has worked in architecture for more than 25 years, serving as founding principal, partner and managing partner for several noted Vancouver firms. His engaging personality and dynamic, positive manner, coupled with his inspirational leadership and mentorship style, are greatly appreciated by the teams he leads.
Knapp brings to B+H extensive expertise in the areas of urban design, master planning, architecture and interiors. Project types include design-build, public-private partnerships (P#) and feasibility studies in the health care, commercial, hospitality, recreation, retail, restaurant, civic, justice, post-secondary education and residential sectors. In the health care sector, Knapp has led a long list of projects over a broad range of facility types as well as the design of specialty areas for hospitals.
Knapp’s major project experience includes the Kelowna Vernon Hospitals P3 project, Simon Fraser University Central City Campus and the Prince George Regional Hospital Redevelopment.
