Home automation system for hotel lighting

Stanza saves operators money, energy
Monday, January 11, 2010

Stanza is a hotel guestroom lighting control system designed to optimize energy efficiency and reduce operating costs as well as accommodate each guest’s preferences and needs.

Operating as a stand-alone system or in conjunction with other guestroom controls such as automated drapery, the Lutron Electronics product contains a variety of individual components – keypads, lamp socket dimmers/switches, dimmers, switches and integrated guest services – that communicate via wireless radio frequency (RF), allowing guests to control all room lights from a single source.

Not only easy to use but easy to install, Stanza’s RF technology is reliable; unlike other networks that run the risk of interference from other devices or between rooms, which can lead to service disruption or delay, Stanza runs on a proprietary frequency. This means guests never have to worry about service interruption or system failure.
