Vancouver’s Executive Group has started construction on the Executive Hotel Le Soleil New York.

The 163-suite boutique luxury hotel will be a sister hotel to the Executive Hotel Le Soleil Vancouver. The new location is under construction in the heart of mid-town Manhattan, at the prime intersection of 5th Avenue and West 36th Street.

Towering 22-storeys, the new hotel will offer a combination of rooms and suites, a rooftop penthouse, a lobby espresso/cocktail bar, several meeting rooms and a yet to be announced restaurant.

When completed in late 2014, it will be the chain’s 17th location.
