Construction starts on Condominiums St-Hilaire

Monday, June 17, 2013

Groupe Lobato has broken ground on Phase 1 of Condominiums St-Hilaire, a residential project developed in partnership with the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ.

The multi-phased development is being built in Village de la Gare, a community that is part of Mont Saint-Hilaire and close to the commuter train station that connects the municipality with downtown Montreal. Village de la Gare is the first master planned, transit-oriented development project in Quebec. The development revolves around access to public transit and bicycle paths; however, it also offers outdoor and indoor parking at a ratio of two spaces per unit.

The Condominiums St-Hilaire project is to be built in five phases. The end result will be a complex of five lowrise buildings, with a total of 144 units. Phase 1 is being built by Construction Corel. It comprises 32 units in a 40,000-square-foot, four-storey building. Units will range from 980 square feet to 1,250 square feet. The cheapest units in the building start at $198,900.
