After 30 years of leadership in architecture, planning and public facilitation, Richard Bolus, a founding partner of CEI Architecture, is transitioning to partner emeritus.

Bolus formed CEI with senior partners John Scott and Bill Locking in 1996. The three have guided the company from just a few employees to almost 100. With Bolus’ transition, CEI has eight partners at offices in Vancouver, Victoria and Kelowna, B.C.

In his new role, Bolus will continue to work on projects that are underway as well as spend more time on outlets such as mentoring and teaching, and interests such as music and travel.
