The 2013 Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC) Architectural Awards honoured 13 projects, with three receiving the prestigious Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia Award in Architecture medal.
The three recipients of the Lieutenant Governor medals were:
- North Vancouver City Hall by Mcfarlane Green Biggar Architecture + Design (which is now the office of Mcfarlane Biggar Architects + Designers and Michael Green Architecture Inc.)
- Regent Park Aquatic Centre by MacLennan Jaunkalns Miller Architects
- University of British Columbia Faculty of Arts Buchanan Courtyards Renew by Public Architecture + Communication
