In response to the growing demand for larger residences, the Gupta Group has unveiled a significant redesign for Yonge City Square, a mixed-use condo development at the corner of Yonge Street and York Mills Road.
The new vision combines many of the suites in the original plan and reduces the count from 700 to 500 units, up to a 30 per cent decrease. There will now be a greater selection of two- and three-bedroom layouts, representing nearly 63 per cent of all residences. They include layouts with dens, customizable suites, and a limited selection of penthouse homes.
Ranging up to 4,323 square feet, with the penthouses occupying half a floor each, the residences offer options for purchasers with varying lifestyles and space requirements.

Set within Hogg’s Hollow, by the natural landscape of the Don River ravine and the sweeping fairways of the neighbouring Don Valley Golf Course, the development will directly connect to York Mills subway station. Plans call for 32,000 square feet of amenities:an outdoor swimming pool, landscaped terraces, rooftop gardens, multiple barbecue areas, a yoga room, sauna, steam room, golf simulator, private theatre, party room, content-creation studio, children’s play areas and two guest suites. A partial fourth underground level will add 67 residential parking spaces to the community.
Once complete, Yonge City Square will comprise a 32-storey west tower and a 14-storey east tower, connected by north and south podiums, as well as 32,636 square feet of retail space, 5,490 square feet of restaurant space and 21,420 square feet of office space.
