JLL announced that Mark Seliskar will lead facilities management for the company’s pharmaceutical and life sciences operations across Canada.
As a pharmaceutical industry veteran and professional engineer, Seliskar’s expertise will support clients navigating complex regulatory requirements and operational challenges in highly controlled environments.

During his career, Seliskar has managed GMP facilities. Additionally, he has led engineering and maintenance departments, completed BLA submissions and FDA pre-licensing site inspections and managed operations for bio-containment facilities.
“Mark’s appointment as the new Life Sciences Regional Lead for Canada strengthens our ability to deliver excellence in facilities management and operational support for our clients,” said Pam Paddock, managing director, life sciences at JLL. “His extensive expertise spanning sterile GMP manufacturing facilities, capital project management, validation and compliance remediation makes him exceptionally well-suited to lead our Canadian Life Sciences operations.”
Seliskar is based in Montreal and reports to Paddock. Prior to joining the company he served as general manager at Sodexo Québec, where he was the subject matter expert for pharma/life sciences operations and a key resource for client-facing business development activities in the Canadian market.
Previously, he served as senior manager of maintenance and engineering at Jubilant HollisterSteir and as engineer manager/director of engineering at Telesta Therapeutics, where he led engineering departments and managed new installation and upgrade projects for GMP manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Seliskar succeeds Jean Francois (JF) Chapdelaine, who has been an integral part of JLL since 2009 and is transitioning into retirement.
