Morguard celebrates major construction milestone

Wednesday, October 14, 2026

Morguard has reached a key construction milestone at 725 Village Green Boulevard, celebrating the topping‑off of its new purpose‑built rental community on October 7. The event brought together Mayor Carolyn Parrish, project partners, and community stakeholders to recognize progress on one of Mississauga’s largest rental developments currently underway.

Boulevard on the Green“From the outset, our vision has been to create a residential community that reflects Morguard’s long-term commitment to delivering an exceptional resident experience,” said Angela Sahi, President and CEO, Morguard. “We have been deliberate in shaping a community that brings together thoughtful design, exceptional amenities and a strong connection to its surroundings, with spaces that support resident well-being and everyday living. We are proud to be advancing that vision alongside partners who share our commitment to quality.”

Located in East Mineola, Boulevard on the Green will feature three mid‑rise residential buildings — one nine‑storey and two eight‑storey — designed to offer a full mix of studios, one‑, two‑ and three‑bedroom suites, along with townhomes and penthouses. With convenient access to the QEW, the waterfront, and Port Credit GO Station, the community offers an array of indoor and outdoor amenities, including landscaped rooftop terraces, a resident greenhouse, a chef’s kitchen and dining space, fitness and yoga studios, co‑working and meeting areas, lounges, pet wash stations, and a dedicated dog run. Together, these spaces create a modern, amenity‑rich environment that supports everyday living, wellness, and community.

“Topping off is an important construction achievement, reflecting the progress achieved across the project,” said Brian Athey, Senior Vice President, Development, Morguard. “With all three buildings now enclosed and weather tight, our current focus is on completing the interior and finishing elements. This will allow us to deliver the quality and performance objectives established for the development, including our target of LEED Gold certification.”

The development incorporates features intended to improve energy and water efficiency, including heat-recovery ventilation, rainwater capture for irrigation, energy-efficient lighting and EV-ready parking, supporting its target of LEED Gold certification.

Construction continues to progress, with first occupancy anticipated in fall 2027. Boulevard on the Green will contribute new purpose-built rental housing to East Mineola, welcoming residents to a well-established Mississauga community.
