The Interior Designers of Canada (IDC), along with the Interior Design Institute of British Columbia (IDIBC), have created a new legacy foundation, as part of the IDC Foundation, in honour of one of Canada’s most celebrated interior designers, Robert (Bob) Ledingham.

The Robert Ledingham Legacy Foundation was unveiled to members, friends, family and colleagues at a memorial for the deceased, organized by IDIBC members. In keeping with the spirit of Ledingham’s work, donations will help fund annual student scholarships.

Ledingham was widely recognized throughout his distinguished career, with more than two decades of experience in the corporate, hospitality and retail sectors.

The renowned Vancouver designer passed away unexpectedly in May, at age 71.
