Concord Pacific has unveiled plans for its newest neighbourhood in Vancouver, which is the city’s largest development announcement since the 2010 Olympics.
Located at the Cambie gateway to the city’s downtown, False Creek Central will be comprised of eight buildings, 90,000 square feet of commercial/retail space and services, as well as more than 1,300 condominium units.
“False Creek Central is the latest addition to the community. (It) will provide significant services and a variety of housing options for Vancouverites,” says Concord Pacific’s senior vice-president of development, Peter Webb.
The first building in the area will be One Pacific, a condo development with more than 400 units. It will also house approximately half the neighbourhood’s commercial space.
