The Township of Langley has opened the new Fire Hall 5 - the first new fire hall constructed in the municipality in 20 years.

Communities are looking to mass timber as a solution that can cut carbon while delivering safe, resilient structures.

The facility brings together a multi-purpose satellite fire station, a live-fire training building, and a municipal emergency operations centre.
