ONE BLOOR, a 75-storey condominium development located in the heart of downtown Toronto, has received international praise at the International Property Awards in London, U.K. The awards, which strive to recognize the best developers worldwide, are considered one of the most prestigious property competitions in the world. Great Gulf, the developer responsible for ONE BLOOR, earned the International Property Award for Best International High-Rise Residential Development.

“It is indeed an honour to receive this global recognition from the International Property Awards,” says Christopher Wein, President at Great Gulf Residential. “ONE BLOOR, a bold futuristic building featuring a series of undulating curves represents a symbol of excellence in design, technology and experience and will become a landmark in Toronto’s prestigious Bloor-Yorkville mink mile.”

Designed by architects Hariri Pontarini, ONE BLOOR includes studio, one bedroom, one bedroom plus den, two bedroom, and two bedroom plus den floor plans ranging from 500 square feet to over 1,800 square feet. Units feature sculpted, undulating balconies. Amenities consist of a fitness centre, outdoor terraces with fireplaces, indoor and outdoor pools, lounges, steam rooms, and a multi-level podium with three floors of retail space.

“Each and every one of the companies to win a coveted World’s Best award has displayed exemplary levels of quality, professionalism and innovation,” says Stuart Shield, International Property Awards President. “Having proved their worth at country level, they can now take their rightful place as leaders in the global property market.”

The International Property Awards, now celebrating its 21st year, covers 50 different residential and commercial categories in regions including Arabia, Europe, Africa, Canada, Central & South America, the Caribbean, the United States, the United Kingdom and Asia Pacific. This year, over 2,000 companies from 103 countries competed for awards. Judges base their decisions on a property’s innovation, sustainability and overall impressiveness.
