Outland-Carillion Services, a Canadian facilities management provider announced its new, permanent company name, Dexterra.

The company adopted the name, Outland-Carillion temporarily before rebranding to Dexterra — the Latin phrase meaning “right hand” —  following the acquisition of the services business, Carillion Canada by Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. in March 2018.

“We are very proud of our heritage, providing exceptional support services in Canada that date back over 70 years, and the work all of our employees have done to get here,” said John Mac Cuish, president and CEO of Dexterra.
“Our new name and visual identity are symbolic of a new, unified foundation. Under one new brand with a shared vision and values, we have a solid platform from which to move forward together towards growth and demonstrating our leadership in the industry.”

Management confirmed that this rebranding does not affect any service agreements in a press statement.
