Devimco Real Estate recently revealed plans for the fifth phase in one of Montreal’s largest mixed-use developments, District Griffin. Phase five, District Griffin sur le Parc, includes a 14-storey, 100-unit condominium tower with views of downtown Montreal and nearby parks.
Once completed, the entire $850-million District Griffin development will feature 2,103 condominium units, 331 affordable housing units, a hotel with 154 rooms, 299,000 square feet of office space and more than 328,000 square feet of retail space.
Phase five will enter construction in summer 2015 with an expected completion in winter 2016-2017. The development will feature a variety of amenities including an outdoor pool, year-round indoor pool, terraces, interior garden with reading area and a sports centre. The tower will also be bordered by gardens and woodlands on three sides.
The tower’s residents will live close by to a range of services, such as banks, restaurants, shops and grocery stores.
