The NAIOP Vancouver and Business in Vancouver Commercial Real Estate Awards of Excellence recognize quality and performance, innovation and creativity, teamwork and collaboration, as well as community and environmental awareness. This year, the awards gala was held on May 28th at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel.

Among the winners was Brewery District, a 9-acre, master planned, sustainable, work/live/play community located next to the Sapperton SkyTrain station and directly across from the Royal Columbian Hospital. Building One is one of eight buildings on the former Labatt brewery site, and plays a key role in the transformation and growth of the Sapperton neighbourhood and the city at large.
