Wednesday, December 4, 2013

Ivanhoe Cambridge has announced two new appointments to its senior management team.

Rita-Rose Gagné has been named the executive vice-president of growth markets, effective immediately. She was previously responsible for strategy at the company.

Meanwhile, Mario D. Morroni will become the executive vice-president of strategy and capital allocation as of Jan. 13, 2014.

Morroni is currently the president and CEO of the Association de bienfaisance et de retraite des policiers et policières de la Ville de Montréal (ABRPPVM). He has been serving on Ivanhoe Cambridge’s board of directors and its audit committee for several years, but will relinquish these responsibilities before starting his new role.

“We are relying on him to give a fresh boost to our strategic direction, at a time when we are experiencing strong growth both here in Canada and internationally,” says Daniel Fournier, chairman of the board and CEO of Ivanhoe Cambridge. “We are certain that he will prove to be a valuable asset for Ivanhoe Cambridge’s senior leadership team and that he will also make an important contribution to our management of capital allocation.”
