Timothy Royds has been named vice-president of finance at Empire Communities.

“Tim’s experience in construction and finance makes him the ideal candidate to manage our finance department,” says Empire Communities’ executive vice-president and CFO, Andrew Guizzetti. “We strive to bring the best and most talented individuals to our company, and look forward to working with Tim to help us drive profitable results.”

Royds has worked in corporate finance and construction management for more than 15 years. His most recent position was managing director of diversified industries at the Bank of Montreal’s corporate finance division.

Empire Communities is a Vaughan-based residential builder and developer. It is involved in developing low and highrise buildings throughout Ontario.
