Construction is now underway at Halton Healthcare’s Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. A new expansion will add more than 110 inpatient beds and approximately 79,000 square feet of renovated space through a $154 million-provincial investment.

Once construction is completed by the end of 2027, this expansion will create additional acute care capacity to better serve the almost 400,000 residents of Oakville, Halton Hills and Milton, as well as surrounding communities.

Halton Healthcare comprises three community hospitals and numerous community-based services. The Ontario government is also supporting renovations at Milton District Hospital to make room for 12 additional inpatient beds.
