Concert Properties is embarking on its largest multi-phased residential development in the City of Toronto. Dubbed the Kip District, the five-building, 1,500-unit project will be located in the Kipling Avenue and Dundas Street West area.

The Kip District will include its own outdoor public square, featuring green spaces as well as commercial and retail shops and services. Plans are also in place for a central amenity building, known as the Kip Club, which will serve as a place for community residents to gather.

“The Kip District will provide the downtown, urban experience while also offering inviting west-end inspired gathering places and expansive green spaces that have been purposely and thoughtfully designed,” says Kelly Wilson, vice president of development at Concert Properties. “It’s an affordable, connected community with a distinctly downtown vibe.”

Planned with accessibility and transit in mind, the development is located close to Kipling station and the GO Transit Milton line.

Phase one of the Kip District will feature a 28-storey, 283-unit building with a fitness centre, lobby lounge, theatre, BBQ terrace, pet wash station, rooftop party room with kitchen, private dining room and billiards room. All suites will feature balconies or patios. First occupancy is scheduled for March 2018.
