The Great Canadian Gaming Corp. (GCGC) has announced the rebranding of its Boulevard Casino into the Hard Rock Casino, the first of its kind in Canada.
GCGC will own and operate the casino under license by a subsidiary of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, which is an affiliate of Brookfield Property Partners – a spinoff of the Canadian-owned commercial real estate company, Brookfield Asset Management.
The Hard Rock Casino Vancouver will feature more than 950 slot machines on the 80,000-square-foot casino floor. It will also be home to a 1,000-seat theatre.
The multi-million-dollar upgrade is expected to be completed later this year.
