Calloway Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) has announced that vice-president and controller, Mario Calabrese, will be stepping in as interim chief financial officer (CFO).
Calabrese, a chartered accountant, has been with Calloway for six years.
This move comes after the departure of previous CFO, Bart Munn.
Munn is moving to Loblaw Companies Ltd., where he will become CFO of the company’s soon to be formed REIT.
“We wish Bart well in his new role and thank him for his eight years of dedicated service to Calloway,” says interim president and CEO, Huw Thomas.
Calloway is one of the largest real estate investment trusts in Canada. It owns and manages approximately 26 million square feet in 118 retail centres.
