A group of architecture firms with offices across Canada have recently emerged as Architecture49, a national firm resulting from restructuring and rebranding process.
Architecture49 combines firms Arcop, AE Consultants, North 46, PBK, Smith Carter and WHW Architects. In recent years, all companies had entered into a strategic business relationship with WSP (formerly GENIVAR).
The firm boasts a 60-year history and depth of experience in designing complex, high-profile projects in Canada’s urban and community settings and beyond.
Architecture49 places priority on community impact projects that have been the foundation of the regional legacy firms. The firm has organized its national sectors in six key areas of expertise: sports and entertainment; healthcare; science and technology; hospitality; security and defence; and transportation.
