Wednesday, May 28, 2014

American real estate firm Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) has announced five new offices in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Columbia, solidifying its presence in South America. A total of 50 senior-level executives have been added to offices in these countries.

Executives running the offices include Marina Cury (Brazil), Domingo Speranza (Argentina), Manuel Ahumada (Chile), Jorge Didyk (Peru) and Camilo Fonnegra (Colombia).

“The economies of these rapidly developing South American countries are seeing organic growth in energy, financial services, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, mining and other burgeoning industries, and are attracting intensive investment from outside the region,” says NGKF CEO Barry Gosin.

Milton Chacon, NGKF regional manager for Latin America, says that its roster of clients includes ExxonMobil, Johnson & Johnson and Morgan Stanley.

“We’ve added substantial resources across our global platform to advise clients every step of the way,” Chacon says.
