Scott Kemp is the new president of the Architectural Institute of B.C. (AIBC). Other AIBC officers include vice-president Darryl J. Condon, treasurer Danica Djurkovic, and registrar Karl W. Gustavson.

Djurkovic and Gustavson are also newly elected AIBC councillors along with David Dove, John Etcher and Gordon C. Richards.

The new 2014/2015 AIBC Council was elected on May 3 in Vancouver, in conjunction with the AIBC Annual Meeting.

The 15-member AIBC Council is comprised of 10 architects (Architects AIBC) who are elected by their peers for two-year terms (five positions in each election year); four lieutenant governor appointees who are non-architect public representatives appointed by the provincial government; and one representative of The University of British Columbia School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture.
