Affinity Partnerships has been selected as a preferred proponent for the new Acute Care Centre at the B.C. Children’s Hospital and B.C. Women’s Hospital and Health Centre.

The next stage in the competitive selection process is for negotiations to begin between Affinity, the province and the Provincial Health Services Authority. A performance-based contract is expected by the spring of 2014.

The total cost of the redevelopment project is estimated at $680 million.

Construction of the new Acute Care Centre is anticipated to get underway near the end of 2014.
