Two Canadian architecture projects have made the 2013 award shortlist for INSIDE World Festival of Interiors.

54.2 Tacofino Commissary by Vancouver-based designer Omer Abel (hotel category) and Nova Scotia Power corporate headquarters by Toronto’s WZMH Architects (creative re-use category) both made the cut.

A total of 59 outstanding interior projects were named across 12 award categories.

Category winners will be announced at this year’s INSIDE World Festival of Interiors, which takes place in Singapore Oct. 2 – 4. Winners will automatically will be eligible for World Interior of the Year 2013, presented on the final evening of the show.

Now in its second year, INSIDE World Festival of Interiors is the sister event to the World Architecture Festival, which is the world’s largest festival and live awards competition for the global architecture community.
