GRG Building Consultants Inc., a specialist building science engineering firm, has formed a strategic alliance with Pretium Anderson Building Engineers to together become Pretium GRG Building Engineers.

Both GRG and Pretium Anderson are distinguished engineering firms, established in 1993 and 2010, respectively. They offer services to building owners and managers to help solve their building performance problems. Together, the firms have a team of nearly 70 employees serving clients throughout Ontario from Toronto, Burlington, Waterloo and Newmarket.

Jerry Genge, formerly the president of GRG, will step into the role of president at Pretium GRG. “The merging of forces with the Pretium companies offers our clients even broader access to expertise,” he said, in a press release. “It’s a ‘best of both worlds’ association.”

“Pretium means ‘value’ in Latin and I believe this merger with GRG furthers that underpinning in our companies,” added John Pogacar, president of Pretium Anderson.

Both companies are part of the larger C3 Group of Companies with over 200 employees.
