South Beach Condos and Lofts in Toronto recently won two awards at the International Property Awards. The development by Amexon Development Corp. was awarded with Best Highrise Architecture and Best Mixed-Use Architecture for Canada.
South Beach Condos and Lofts is a mixed use project that embodies the culture and vibe of South Beach, Miami. The development combines two soaring 27-storey residential towers, an extensive amenity area totalling roughly 40,000 square feet and a 16,000-square-foot retail gateway embodying the Art Deco design of South Beach.
The two towers incorporate solar powered LED-lit “crowns” and iconic slivers that run from the top of the towers to street level. The development has numerous amenities, including a glass-enclosed indoor pool, outdoor pool, fitness centre, yoga rooms, squash court, basketball court, movie screen room, residents lounge and guest suites.
The International Property Awards are based in the U.K. They are judged by a panel of more than 80 experts who cover all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries.
