Lingerie retailer Victoria’s Secret has opened its first B.C. store in Vancouver.

The flagship store occupies one of the city’s largest retail spaces – 35,000 square feet over two levels. It is the second largest Victoria’s Secret location in the world, after the one in Manhattan, New York.

The building, located at the intersection of Burrard and Robson streets, formerly housed the original Vancouver Public Library’s central branch before being transformed into Virgin and then HMV.

Victoria Secret will open a second location at Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby, B.C., this fall.
