Ivanhoé Cambridge has purchased a high-quality, neo-gothic office building in London, England’s EC3 neighbourhood.

The Prudential-built property, constructed in the early 1990s, is part of a multi-building complex currently leased to London Underwriting Centre.

The 275,000-square-foot property is located on the eastern side of London, by the Thames, an area seeped in history.

“3 Minster Court meets our investment objective to build critical mass of high-quality assets in London” said Meka Brunel, executive vice-president of Ivanhoé Cambridge (Europe). “We believe we can add value to the property over time.”

Ivanhoé Cambridge has invested more than $323.3 million in the complex, and, at the moment, holds about $42 billion of assets, mainly in Canada, the United States, Europe, Brazil, Mexico and Asia.
