Avison Young has hired Lloyd Bakan as principal at its west Los Angeles office. Bakan will oversee investment sales in addition to tenant and landlord representation.

“Lloyd will provide Avison Young with tremendous expertise in agency leasing and investment sales, which are critical components of our growth strategy and client-service platform,” says Christopher Cooper, principal and managing director of Avison Young’s southern California operations.

Bakan comes to Avison Young from Coldwell Banker Commercial Westmac. The former executive vice-president worked at the company for more than 25 years. His roster of clients includes State Farm Insurance, ING Direct and Pizza Hut.
