Ray Harris is the new president of the Real State board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV).

He officially took over from Sandra Wyant at the organization’s annual general meeting on March 20.

A real estate veteran of nearly 30 years, Harris previously chaired the REBGV’s governance committee. He also served as chair of an area of the REBGV that includes Burnaby, New Westminster and the Tri-Cities.

“It’s an honour to serve as president of the board in its 95th year, and to continue its commitment to protecting property owners, ensuring economic vitality, preserving our environment and building better communities,” Harris says.

The REBGC represents more than 10,000 realtors and their companies.
