The Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario has announced four new appointments to the ARIDO board of management.
Gregg Quinn of Toronto-based X-Design Inc. was selected as incoming president of the board during the annual general meeting in mid-March.
“My prime focus this year will be to conduct research that will help set the stage for ARIDO’s evolution as a stricter regulator,” Quinn says. “This research will focus on business and financial planning and greater governance practices.”
Quinn brings more than 20 years of experience in design and management to the ARIDO board. He has led the completion of more than 2,000 corporate, hospitability and retail interior projects as the principal of X-Design. His projects include work for CMA Ontario, Nine West and Best Buy Canada.
Alison Logue of Vitamin-D Design Inc., Naji Mourani of NORR Limited and Susan Tienhaara of Upper Grand District School Board were named as the three new board directors.
Outgoing association president, Janine Grossmann of Kasian Architecture, Interior Design and Planning Ltd., will assume the role of past-president, while Deanna Hayko of B and H Architecture assumes the role of president-elect.
